Pinpoint Pest Control is a 3-generation family business. Bill Tanksley started in the pest control industry in 1971 as a route technician and worked his way to upper management by the 1990s. He and his son, Steve Tanksley purchased Pinpoint Pest Control in the mid-90’s and have worked together to bring service-centered quality pest control to North San Diego County. Bill retired in 2015 and has become a nationally recognized IPM and Honeybee instructor. Steve is now operating Pinpoint Pest Control with the help of his two oldest sons. Steve is an Associate Certified Entomologist, carries multiple pest control licenses, and has been published in scientific journals and industry magazines. Integrated Pest Management (IPM) includes:

• Inspection for safety and effectiveness
• Identification of pest problems
• Exclusion and sanitation when appropriate
• Biological controls if workable and safe
• Utilize natural resources when useful
• "Low Impact" materials when pesticides are called for
